About Supperclub SF

A highly stylized, finely detailed combination of performance, food, art and design, the place is intended to evoke a certain mood, and stake its claim as the second best thing you could be doing in bed. Which if you’ve never heard of it, is going to sound awfully weird, but don’t fret, it’s completely normal.  For this place, anyway.

Walking into the warehouse style, high-ceilinged space, the first thing you’ll notice is the DJ booth, dead center in the middle of the almost completely white room, with all white décor, and pretty dazzling lighting arrangements.  All along the walls, both on the main floor and the upstairs mezzanine/balcony area overlooking the main floor, beds line the walls front to back and all the way around.  A bar situated on the far side of the room provides all the adult beverages.

Why beds? Well Supperclub is not your traditional nightlife venue.  While the nights are certainly filled with DJs and dancing and general carousing, the real experience here is the dinner show.  Kick off your shoes, lounge back in bed with whoever might have come with you, and enjoy some high-end dining while the Supperclub’s notoriously racy, somewhat raunchy, and definitely sexy mix of emcees, acrobats, dancers, performance artists and exhibitionists put on the sort of performance you don’t usually get with your meal. The show is interactive as well, so if you’re a little shy, and not necessarily comfortable with being in a sort of r-rated spotlight, you may want to stay home.  Once the show wraps up (usually around 10 pm) the rest of the revelry begins.  Expect some debauchery, the show winds people up and the DJs set them free

The music is provided mostly by residents Liam Shy, Michael Anthony, B-Smiley, and Tall Sasha, leaning heavily towards house, with other stuff dashed in to keep it interesting.  Supperclub is dress to impress territory, with a dress code that changes with the event, so check the website for details and events schedules.  The crowd is a diverse mix age-wise, but expect plenty of sleekly dressed, upscale people.
